PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING BY PROCEEDING YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD & AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING VERY IMPORTANT POINTS:

1. Mount Ceder is NOT connected in any way to Cedar Rock / Cederberg Chalets, other than providing key access and bedding supply service. All their rules apply regarding OPENING AND CLOSING TIMES!

2. Collection and return of keys and bedding is to be done STRICTLY between 8am and 5 pm. NO LATE OR EARLY HOURS WILL BE ENTERTAINED.

3. Do NOT leave your refuse at Mount Ceder, or anywhere else in the Cederberg. The wilderness law applies “Take out what you bring in”.

4. Visitors travelling in any vehicle other than a 4 x 4 or HIGH GROUND CLEARANCE (or rugged 2 x 4 ) vehicle, do so at their own risk. We will NOT entertain claims for damage to wheels / tyres, or undercarriage components, etc, or inability to reach your chalet. You are entering a true WILDERNESS AREA, and sections of the (Cape Nature Conservation) track are extremely bumpy. NO LOW VEHICLES PERMITTED.
